Well, I’m absolutely loving ‘The Hits’. I’m amazed how special it is listening to all the singles one after the other and being reminded what great songs they are. Highlights for me are ‘Friday’s Child’, the nine minute version, a wonderful showcase for Will’s soulful voice, and Evergreen, which I never really took to as a song before but now has me weeping buckets. Then we have two new tracks, ‘Hopes and Fears’, a great song that should be a hit single in itself, and ‘If it hadn’t Been for Love’ on which Will’s voice is sublime and just makes me melt.

I love having this collection of Will’s songs. It reminds me how much Will has achieved already and makes me desperate to see where he (and all of us) are going in the future. I'm sure its going to get better and better.

xx

Saturday Morning I postively pounced on the postman when he rang the doorbell - My Hits CD had arrived! FANTASTIC as we were on our way from Sussex to Manchester to see Will. We listened to the CD constantly loving every minute - playing Hopes and Fears and If It hadn't been for Love over and OVER again. Love them - Love them ALL. Every song has a special memory attached to it and the four of us in the car singing along to Will, excited and happy have forged such a special friendship that will last forever and all because of one man - MR William Young and his AMAZING HITS!

I was so pleased to receive my copy of The Hits this morning.Of course I already have all those Hits and love them but this compilation is a wonderful reminder of Will's journey since winning Pop Idol. The eye catching cover and Will's very moving "thank yous" on the sleeve notes to all those who have helped him on that journey make this a very fitting memento for us to treasure and has the added bonus of two exciting new tracts. It's hard to say one has a favourite , they were all "my favourite" at that special time of release but "Leave Right Now" accelerated Will's career along the journey we have shared with him since then and there are still many more miles to go. 'The Hits' is surely a 'must have' in any music lover's collection. In my opinion, it celebrates the success of the best UK male vocalist that this country has seen. I feel the final bonus track 'If it hadn't been for love' fast becoming one of my firm favourite tracks by Will alongside 'Very Kind', 'If love equals nothing' and 'Home'(all album tracks).

However, these 'hits' are merely a snippet of what Will's four fabulous albums to date have to offer. Personally, only a few of his released singles are amongst my favourites as there is a wealth of non-released material that I adore on his albums (and B-sides to his singles) too that could easily have also made fantasitic hit singles. Will always gives his fans quality and class.

'The Hits' is the end of an outstanding chapter for Will and marks the beginning of a new chapter that I, for one, can't wait to follow and support. May I suggest a 'live' album one day Will?

Thankyou Will - long may you continue to bring music to my ears!

It's great to have everything in one place, and I adore the new songs. It shows how much Will has progressed over the years.

My only request for next time would be for more treats for us avid fans who'd like some live Will footage, both audio and video

The yellow is a great idea

I hope it does well

Will's thankyous are so lovely!

Bought mine in HMV this morning. It was lovely to hear them playing it in the shop too. SIO and it sounded great!

Couldn't wait to listen to the new unheard track only to find it jumped 4 times.

So back to HMV this afternoon and they were playing the album again, this time I heard the end of YAI, then LRN and YG!! I felt so proud!

I've now listened to the whole album and I agree about the emotional journey it takes you on.

I'm playing IIHBFL on repeat...it's absolutely beautiful. Will's vocals are to die for!

I am very excited about the Album especially it having a Deluxe Edition has it will be great to have all the videos in one place.

I admire Will so much for being able to sing in such a way that makes one feel as if he is right there in the room with you. His voice is pure, soulful and full of emotion. When I listen to him sing it is as if nothing else matters each moment in time.

Bring on the winter nights with this little gem of great videos and amazing songs, each bringing immense pleasure whilst watching and listening to.

I feel very privileged to be one of the many Will Young fans and listening to The Hits confirmed to me why I have never faltered in my love of his amazing voice, great songs and videos.

What a journey we have been sharing with Will.........absolutely 'fan-tastic' every step of the way and I have no doubt there are many more miles for us all to tread, given the amazing quality of Will's work in the field of pop music. We have all shared our 'Hopes and Fears' about Will's career along the way and I am so happy that the title of the last song on The Hits... 'If It Hadn't Been for Love', is very aptly a testament has to why we all are still here, after all these years, walking alongside The Original Pop Idol.

To tire of Will's music would be to tire of life itself.

I bought my Hits album yesterday afternoon and played it last night, I didn't expect to feel so emotional listening to Will's songs that I've heard so many times over the years. But as the songs were played in order of release, it just hit me as all the memories and emotions started filtering through, Will's come so far since releasing his massive debut hit single Evergreen and he's achieved so much in other areas as well. He's such a fantastic live singer and entertainer now and so confident, the shyness and 'tea pot' are long gone! I love the two new tracks, "Hopes and Fears" is great and "If It Hadn't Been For Love" is just sublime and my favourite of the two new ones.I can't believe it's been nearly eight years, bring on the next eight years Will.
